Message to former DevonAir Radio staffers, freelancers and contributors
Hello,
This domain has been live
for several years now. It
includes contributions from
former DevonAir Radio
staffers and freelancers as
well as archive supplied by
regional newspapers and the
South West Film and
Television Archive (Westward
Television, TSW and BBC
South West).
Also I have tried to include
archived transmitted
DevonAir programme output to
a quality comparable to or
as near as the actual
broadcast (in some cases
sadly this has not be
possible as certain archive
has not been available or
has been lost).
I am trying update the
overall site and now I am
looking for any further
archive, editorial, general
input and anecdotes from
former employees and
contributors. There is a
‘recollections’ page and
quite a lot of scope to
generally expand the website
as a whole.
devonairradio.com is not a
tribute site but merely an
online historic resource
about a former Devon
business and broadcaster. As
with all sites of this
nature it is good to keep it
fresh to maintain interest.
Any contributions are
gratefully accepted under
the normal terms and
conditions agreed when the
site was established.
There is talk of another
DevonAir Radio Reunion, I
hope this time round
devonairradio.com will be
recognised and will be able
to play its part.
Thanks for your time and
have a good day.
Best regards,
Ian Waugh
